No Sea Snakes in Curacao
I recently was snorkeling in Blue Bay and came across a striped animal that looked very much like a snake swimming along some coral formations. It didn't appear to have any fins and looked like a snake in virtually every way. After doing some research, I was able to identify the animal as a "snake eel" -- which is a harmless animal. Turns out, there are no sea snakes in the Caribbean Sea at all.
